Voices of Fire is a 2020 docuseries that follows Grammy-winning gospel singer, Pastor and Bishop Ezekiel Williams, and his nephew Pharrell Williams, as they embark on a mission to create one of the world's most inspiring gospel choirs. The duo is joined by some of the most talented gospel singers, musicians, and church leaders in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, to audition and create the new choir. Shakara Monique is a mother of two who has been singing her entire life but had put her passion on hold to care for her family. Keith Ball is a former alcoholic who found solace in gospel music and has since devoted his life to it. Marcus Richardson is a young singer with a natural talent for music who wants to use his voice to inspire others. As the auditions move forward, the group is challenged to come together to learn a range of gospel songs, adapt their musical styles, and learn to perform as a united choir.
