To Tell the Truth is a game show that premiered on ABC in 2016. The show is hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson, and features a celebrity panel consisting of three regular panelists and a rotating fourth guest panelist. The regular panelists are actress Doris Bowman, radio personality Sherri Shepherd, and actor Jalen Rose. The guest panelist changes each episode, but often includes well-known celebrities such as Joel McHale. The premise of the show is simple: three contestants all claim to be the same person, and it is up to the celebrity panel to determine which one is telling the truth. The contestants are usually people with unique or interesting life experiences, professions, or hobbies. For example, in one episode, three people claimed to be a professional mermaid; in another, three people claimed to be a former CIA spy. The contestants are introduced by Anderson, who reads a brief bio that gives the panel some information about each person's life.
