Three's Company was a popular American sitcom that aired on ABC from 1976 to 1984. The show revolved around the lives of three single roommates, Jack Tripper (John Ritter), Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt), and Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers), who lived in a Santa Monica apartment complex owned by their landlord, Mr. Roper (Norman Fell) and later, his wife, Mrs. Roper (Audra Lindley). The show was known for its comedic misunderstandings and physical humor as the roommates tried to keep their living arrangements a secret from Mr. Roper, who forbade unmarried couples from living together. This led to plenty of hijinks as Jack had to fake being gay in order to avoid eviction.
