PARTY LEGENDS was an exhilarating series that premiered on Viceland in August 2016. Hosted by rapper and director Kreayshawn, this show featured an impressive lineup of celebrities sharing their craziest party stories, set against a vivid and colorful animation backdrop. Joining Kreayshawn were comedic talents Fred Armisen and Alia Shawkat, who added their own unique twists to some of the most outrageous tales ever heard. The series was formatted as a mix of interview segments and animated reenactments, with each episode featuring three different celebrity guests recounting their wildest party experiences. The stories ranged from hilarious to scandalous, with tales of drunken debauchery, unexpected hookups, and outrageous stunts all on display. Perhaps the most entertaining aspect of PARTY LEGENDS was the animation style used to bring the stories to life. The show utilized a mix of 2D and 3D animation techniques, along with bright neon colors and surreal imagery that perfectly captured the wild and unpredictable nature of the stories being told. The artwork was created by a team of talented animators, including David O'Reilly, who had previously worked on the popular video game 'Everything.' In addition to the impressive animation, another highlight of the show was the varied and eclectic guest lineup. Over the course of the series, we were treated to stories from a wide range of celebrities, from musicians and comedians to actors and athletes. Some of the most memorable guests included Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man, actress Aubrey Plaza, and former pro skateboarder Bam Margera. Of course, the true stars of PARTY LEGENDS were the stories themselves. Over the course of the series, we heard tales of celebrities getting into bar fights, hooking up with strangers, and engaging in all sorts of wild and reckless behavior. One particularly memorable story came from comedian Margaret Cho, who shared a hilarious (and slightly disturbing) tale involving a Thanksgiving dinner with some unexpected guests. Throughout it all, Kreayshawn, Armisen, and Shawkat added their own unique commentary and comedic flair to the proceedings. Kreayshawn, in particular, was a standout host, bringing a contagious energy and enthusiasm to every episode. Armisen, meanwhile, contributed his trademark deadpan humor throughout, and Shawkat added her own quirky perspective to some of the more bizarre stories. Overall, PARTY LEGENDS was a refreshingly unique and entertaining series that showcased some of the wildest and most bizarre celebrity stories out there. With its eye-catching animation, talented guest lineup, and hilarious hosts, it's no surprise that the show was a hit with audiences and critics alike.
