Human Target is an American action-adventure television show that aired on FOX from 2010 to 2011. The series is loosely based on the DC Comics character of the same name and follows the adventures of Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a private contractor and bodyguard who offers his clients a unique form of protection. Instead of simply providing them with a team of security personnel, Christopher becomes the human target that his clients' enemies must eliminate in order to harm his clients. Throughout the series, Christopher works with his trusted associates, including Winston (Chi McBride), a former LAPD detective who serves as his business partner and Jackie Earle Haley as Guerrero, a computer hacker and master of espionage who is always willing to bend the rules to get the job done. He also collaborates with an international fixer named Ilsa Pucci (Indira Varma) and a thief named Ames (Janet Montgomery), both of whom have their own reasons for joining forces with the unusual trio. As a former member of the US Army Special Forces, Christopher brings a unique set of skills to his job. He is an expert in close-quarter combat and is comfortable with a wide range of weapons. He is also able to think on his feet, and his quick wits and resourcefulness allow him to successfully navigate even the most dangerous situations. Additionally, his experience as a professional bodyguard and security consultant gives him invaluable insight into the minds of his enemies, allowing him to anticipate their moves and stay one step ahead of them at all times. While Christopher's unique approach to security often puts him in harm's way, he is more than capable of taking care of himself. In fact, he thrives on the adrenaline rush that comes with his dangerous job, and he never backs down from a challenge. Whether he's fighting off armed assassins, dodging explosions or racing against time to defuse a bomb, Christopher always manages to come out on top. As the series progresses, Christopher and his team of associates become involved in a wide range of cases, each more difficult and dangerous than the last. From protecting a congressman from a sniper to disarming a deadly virus, there is never a dull moment for Christopher and his team. Along the way, they encounter a variety of colorful characters, from ruthless mob bosses to beautiful con artists, and they must use all of their skills and ingenuity to stay alive. Human Target is a fast-paced, action-packed adventure series that is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
