Ayumi is shocked when Shuji tells her about Hagumi. Takumi and Rika complete their work in Spain and return home and rush to see Shuji. Shinobu is worried about his brother's whereabouts, but comes to a decision about his own life. Everyone is searching for a new start. And just as spring rolls around, Yuta has grown tired of his room and prepares to set out on a journey. And on his last night in Tokyo, he's alone with Hagumi, just the two of them.

After suddenly appearing before Hagumi, Shinobu takes her to his hideout without a word to anyone else. The following day, worried at seeing how swollen her arm has gotten, Hagumi tells Shinobu to take her back to the hospital. When they return, Shuji, who has been worried sick, delivers a tirade to Shinobu. After her arm has been treated, Hagumi tells Shuji her true feelings, which were affirmed while talking to Shinobu the previous night.

Hagumi continues painful rehabilitation hoping to regain the use of her arm. Ayumi keeps visiting the hospital to cheer Hagumi up, but worries about Shinobu who has disappeared and is unaware of the accident. Ayumi decides to contact Takumi in Spain in order to find Shinobu... Yuta feels helpless that he cannot do more for Hagumi. Shuji, as usual, offers his quiet strength at Hagumi's side. Shinobu finally learns about Hagumi's accident and comes to visit. Shortly thereafter, Hagumi disappears from the hospital.

The Morita brothers put their years of planning into action and succeed, but then, Kaoru, the older one, disappears. Hagumi gets into an accident and injures her right arm and is hospitalized. Yuta and Ayumi agonize as they watch their friend painfully assess the seriousness of her condition. And Shuji can only stand by to protect her... Seeing Ayumi depressed, Nomiya gives her some advice on what she can do when suddenly Ayumi thinks of something and takes action.

Takumi has come to Spain to help Rika, but he has to accept the harsh reality of working in a foreign land. Shinobu and Kaoru are in Chicago in the U.S. to put their plans into action, which they painstakingly prepared over many years. In Japan, it is the opening day of the Hama Art University Exhibition. The winds are especially strong, and no one, not Yuta, Ayumi nor Shuji, could have imagined the serious accident Hagumi would be involved in.
