God, the Devil and Bob is an American animated sitcom that aired on NBC in the year 2000. The show is about Bob Allman, a hapless and flawed everyman, who gets a visit from God and the Devil. Along with the fantastic voice cast, the show featured some excellent writing, which tackled subjects such as religion, morality, and the nature of human behavior. The show had a unique take on these subjects, and it managed to balance the comedic elements with the more serious issues raised. One of the most impressive things about the show was its humor; despite the sometimes-heavy subject matter, the show managed to remain funny and entertaining throughout. The show was anchored by some fantastic performances, in particular, that of Nancy Cartwright. Cartwright, who is best known for voicing Bart Simpson on The Simpsons, played the role of Bob's wife, Donna.
