Bad Guys: Vile City is a South Korean crime drama series released by Netflix in 2017. The show is a spin-off of the popular 2014 series Bad Guys and focuses on an elite police task force that is assembled to bring one of the most dangerous criminals in the city to justice. The story is set in the city of Ongjin in Korea, which is plagued by a series of violent crimes perpetrated by a notorious criminal organization known as "Kukje." Lee Myung-deuk (played by Kim Moo-yul), the head of the Kukje organization, is behind all these crimes and he has managed to evade the police for years. This prompts the Prosecutor General's office to form an elite team of four convicts to help catch Lee. The team comprises of the vicious gangster Park Woong-cheol (played by Ma Dong-seok), the genius hacker Jung Tae-soo (played by Jo Dong-hyuk), the ex-cop turned criminal Oh Gu-tak (played by Kim Sang-joong) and the neo-Nazi serial killer Yoo Mi-young (played by Kang Ye-won). Despite their criminal past, each member of the team is an expert in their field and has a unique set of skills that make them valuable assets for the task force. Park Woong-cheol is a ruthless gangster with a violent reputation who shows no mercy to anyone who crosses him. He joins the team in exchange for a reduced sentence and a promise for his daughter's release from prison. Jung Tae-soo is a tech genius who has hacked into some of the most secure networks in Korea. He joins the team to get back at the Kukje organization, who betrayed him in the past. Oh Gu-tak is an ex-cop who lost his wife and daughter in a hit and run accident caused by Lee Myung-deuk. He joins the team to get revenge on Lee and his organization. Yoo Mi-young is a neo-Nazi serial killer who is known for her brutality and ruthlessness. She joins the team in exchange for a transfer to Germany, where she can reunite with her lover. The four convicts form an uneasy alliance and work together to catch Lee Myung-deuk and his organization. They use their criminal connections, expertise and unconventional methods to get close to Lee and his minions. As they get closer to their target, they uncover a web of corruption, betrayal and secrets that threatens to bring them down. Bad Guys: Vile City is a gritty, intense and action-packed series that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The show's writing is top-notch, with well-developed characters and a complex storyline that keeps you guessing. The acting is superb, with Ma Dong-seok's portrayal of Park Woong-cheol stealing the show.
