Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is a 2010 American-Australian 3D computer-animated action-adventure fantasy movie. It is directed by Zack Snyder and was based on the first three books of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky. The movie tells the story of Soren (Jim Sturgess), a young Barn Owl who dreams of adventure and wants to be a Guardian. Along the way, Soren and Gylfie meet two other young owls, Digger (David Wenham) and Twilight (Anthony LaPaglia), who join them on their quest. They also encounter an old, wise Great Grey Owl named Ezylryb (Geoffrey Rush), who teaches them about the legend of Ga'Hoole and gives them hope in their mission.
