Will Smith (Oscar), Robert DeNiro (Don Lino), Renee Zellweger (Angie), Martin Scorsese (Sykes), Angelina Jolie (Lola), and Jack Black (Lenny) do hilarious voice impersonations for the sea creatures in Shark Tale. The adventure of fish in an undersea reef that resembles New York City is a comical story of two entirely different fish who wants everyone to look up to them in a different sort of way. The plot involves Oscar, a fish who wants to be somebody, and living on top of the world. And then there is Lenny who doesn’t want to live the life of a ferocious shark like his father, Don Lino wants him to. A series of events leads up to the accidental killing of Lenny’s brother. Oscar is being lauded as a Shark Slayer. Lenny is hiding because he feels responsible for his brother’s death, and that he has disappointed his father, so he disappears. Meanwhile, back in the city everyone is celebrating Oscar’s new fame. Lola the gold digger latches on to Oscar, just as it seems he and Angie who is secretly in love with him are connecting. News comes that sharks are on the outskirts of the city, and everyone expects Oscar to go take of them. This is when he meets up with Lenny again. They explain what happened to each other and form a bond. Lenny has to disappear, and Oscar has to really kill a shark. Oscar sneaks Lenny back into the city, and they come up with a plan that will take care of both their problems. Angie discovers Lenny hiding in an old whale garage and confronts Oscar about what is going on. Don Lino’s men show up in town looking for Oscar. They witness him killing Lenny, which was the plan. Oscar is a real hero, and Lenny gets away. Well everything appears to work out, but the plan is foiled when Lenny is discovered from a disguise. Don Lino learns of the real cause of his son’s death. He is glad to have Lenny back, and accepts him for who he wants to be. Oscar really becomes a hero and realizes Angie is the one for him. Both fish are satisfied with themselves.
